Majority of cellular pathways involved in signal transduction are regulated by the enzymes known as Protein kinases. In general the proteins essential for the survival of the organisms were modified and activated by the kinase activity. In the proposed project, the database of potential human pathogeneic bacterial kinase proteins will be described. The entries in this database were filtered based on protein phosphorylation (gene ontology) and molecular function (ATP binding and kinase activity) that are responsible for protein kinase activity. This database can be used to search the important pathogeneic bacterial protein kinase based on the common protein name or group with relevant biological information that serves as a most strategic point for the identification of drug target that provides a great insight for novel drug design.
